Canton, MI Family Photographer | Cousin Fun
We set up this session with two days notice and look how great it turned out! Two sisters (twins actually!) wanted to give their mom updated family photos as a gift so we did some group shots with both families and then some individuals as well. I first met Christie when I shot her son's newborn photos and now he's 4 years old! It was so much fun seeing them again and meeting her sister's family as well. This first shot is my absolute favorite. I'm sure Christie and Julie are laughing because they know what it took to get the kids "posed" like this. I have about 20 others like this that are a complete disaster, but all it takes is one good one! (I believe at this point Christie was making a sippy cup "dance" under my camera!) And I didn't even have to photoshop any heads in, yay! I'm sure their mom is going to love these photos.
I love when families just have fun and make silly faces, I think these kind of pictures say so much more than a stiff pose with fake smiles.
Having a little boy of my own, I'm obsessing over these mother-son pictures...so sweet!
